I adore this establishment! I travel here often because my boyfriend is a Marine, he found this restaurant by chance one day. Every time I am in town we go here, it's our favorite date-night spot.

I wish I could take the soup home with me to Chicago! I love this place and will always recommend it to others.

Sitting on the water's edge just added to the great meal.

The bread is excellent, the crab corn chowder is TO DIE for, and all of the entrees are delicious.

The view of the water is breath taking, if you look across to the island you may even see wild horses while you dine.

I can't recall if we were early or late, but we were seated outside right way.

The waitstaff is always friendly, not the fastest, but not something that would ruin your experience.

Treated for my birthday and it was an absolute perfect evening! Our entree was superb, the service impeccable and we enjoyed the ambiance of outside seating! Topping the evening off we were served the most divine desserts! You must try the turtle cheesecake and carrot cake!! Thank you Spouter Inn staff!!!

Note, the menu on the website was not identical to what was on the menu for the evening we were there. However, it was similar and the stuffed flounder was very delicious.

We are always greeted by the woman with the red lipstick (I'm sorry I forgot your name!) she is so sweet and kind to us when we come to dine.

We had a great lunch here -

When we get back in town, I believe we will stop here again.

If you are visiting, the Spouter Inn is a must for dinner. Our reservations for 2 gave us a front row seat for a spectacular sunset (the photos don't do it justice). Only parties of 2 will be able to sit right next to the water. Larger parties will be set back slightly and not directly next to the water.

We arrived late afternoon and were greeted with a reduced menu that had plenty of options. Anna took great care of us and we chose the portabella stuffed mushroom and the broiled scallops from the appetizers for our entrees, with carrot cake for dessert. The food was excellent, the view from the sunny deck included a floor show of dolphins. Then we stopped at their bakery to pick up some strudel to take home; it was a hit! And it worked....my other purchases went unseen.

Food was really good and arrived at our table with a smile, and helpful suggestions of what to do in town...
