Visited this place last night and had the worst restaurant experience ever. The waitress would walk away while we would be talking to her, she rudely say what & what else like we were bothering her by making her do her job. She consistently forgot to bring things to the table and some of the orders were incorrect. When ask for more ranch for my salad, she rudely said how much more do you need? When someone I was with finally got their drink after asking for it 3 times, she said y'all should have everything now and while walking away she said some ppl shouldn't come in her. Well she must of thought no one was going to say anything back to her because we did. I don't understand how this place operates when employees are able to get mad because they consistently forget to bring what was asked and to talk to customers in such a rude manner. We got discounted food and drinks but the experience is unforgettable. Fortunately the food and location is great but I will never eat at a place that think it is okay to disrespect paying customers. Plus it was our table and one other there, it wasn't like they were crazy busy or had a lot going on.
I love their food. My daughter, her friend, my best friend, and everyone lives their food. They speak Spanish and English. They also have a bar if you want a drink before, during, or after your meal. It is in a great location on the waterfront in Beaufort, NC!
Walking along beautiful Front St in the historic Beaufort's waterfront, Plaza Mexico Grill offers a pleasant change to the expensive restaurant offerings. Reasonably priced. Very good Mexican food offerings. And excellent service.
Stopped in for lunch October 24th, 2017. The food wasn't great, but didn't suck either. The service was slow, the prices fair. However, i accidentally left my phone on the bar and I didn't notice it missing until I was 3 hours north on the highway headed home ( I live in New England and had traveled to Beaufort on a business matter). I immediately called the restaurant (using my business partners phone) and the waitress said, "yes, we have your phone right here". I was pretty happy and asked her if she could mail it to my home addres ; I told her I would pay her $50 cash and reimburse for shipping when I receive the phone.She agreed. TWO WEEKS went by and still no phone so I followed up with a phone call, and she assured me again that she would get around to it. TWO MORE WEEKS go by and still NO PHONE!! I tried in vain several times the get a hold of a manager/owner but was unsuccessful. Numerous phone calls and conversations with the waitress were useless, so I finally enlisted the help of the fine folks at the Beaufort Police Department.. Within a matter of days, I received my phone back, December 12th. Remember, I left the phone in the restaurant OCTOBER 24th!! Thats SIX WEEKS!!! One of the worst, weirdest restaurant experiences ever. Had it not been for the BPD, I honestly believe I never would have gotten my phone back. I travel to Beaufort/Moorehead City frequently, but I will never go back to Plaza Mexico. Thanks for listening.
Hair in my chips, and mold frozen in the ice. Have pics but cannot upload and isn't worth it. Hopefully, no one will choke on Chewbacca or get sick from moldy ice machines.
