A gym rat since puberty, (I am now in my 40's), I have seen both good and bad gyms. This is a good one! The equipment and facility are kept sparkling clean, with an eye towards infection control as well. (If you don't know what MRSA is, go find out right now.) There are plenty of machines as well as free weights, treadmills, 4 elipical's, rowing machine, stair steppers, indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna. There are all kinds of group classes, from yoga to swimming, and they even sport their own masseuse. (Excellent!) The dressing rooms are large, w/ showers but no blow dryers. I have been using this facility for over 4 years and have never had any serious problems with the people who use it. Except for a few, nasty sweaty people who don’t clean up after themselves, (There are towels and sprays right in the work out area for this.)I have had no problems. This isn't a pick up, glamour, "Gold's Gym" mentality. This is good, clean fun for all ages. (Min. age 14 with an adult, but about 80% of the people there are 40 and up. ) You can even rent the pool area for parties.
Just checking it out for membership. Not beautiful but looks complete basic. Has pool and other amenities not found in a lot of gyms. Seems reasonably priced.
