Work chairs (at the study carrels) are decidedly uncomfortable.
Nice place; stopped by in the afternoon of Pirate Fest to get some work done while a friend was at the festival. Quiet; roomy.
WAY not enough electricity at the work tables--only four spaces are within ready reach of a power outlet. (Lots of public computers, however. But I have my own.)
Always has good books
I've used this library several times and generally had a good experience. But today I accidentally forgot to leave my beverage at the door when I went to pick up my things. I walked over the carpet with it for not even 30 seconds. But on my way back two Librarians glared at me and rolled her eyes at me more than once. I asked him what was wrong and they reminded me of the rule. I told them that I always keep the rules and I had forgotten for just a moment and I apologize. But they were not graceful.
Love the model ships on the bookshelves. Lots of local (coastal) color.
