We met Dr. Austin shortly after she came from NCSU Veterinary School. Our dog needed surgery to remove a malignant lump on her leg and she performed it flawlessly and Julie recovered well. Since that time, Dr. Austin has treated Julie as her own and Julie is 13 years old now. She has a friendly, knowledgeable support staff as well and they quickly become friends.

ypical veterinary office that rushes you in and out. You will maybe see the vet for 3 minutes, if you are lucky. I had really high hopes for this clinic as they have an unreasonably high number of great reviews but I was very disappointed. I just moved to the area when my dog began having health problems, I took him here and the visit was so so. The vet didn't seem to have much interest but I plodded along because who wants to change vets all the time. After the first treatment did not work I called back as I was instructed and never received a return call. I called again a few days later and was able to speak to someone. I chalked this up as human error, nbd. I brought my dog in for a second appointment; which was rushed and not helpful. He was prescribed another medication that was way overpriced and I was out the door. After calling back 1 week later to question the medication I again never received a call back. I ended up taking my dog to another vet in the area who took his time in coming up with a plan and a diagnosis, rather than just prescribing a medication. On top of them not returning my calls, the new vet had a very challenging time getting our records from Austin and as a result I had to pay a second time for tests that were already done. I had high hopes for this place, as any pet owner knows moving and finding a new vet is stressful, and this time I was sorely disappointed.
